Partially removable threadbar anchors allow the free length tendon to be removed. Typically, the free length comprises a single section tendon due to the limitations of coupler diameters. This allows subsequent works such as pile driving, excavation, or tunnel boring to take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The free length section can be removed from the bond section after de-stressing by unscrewing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a tension type anchor, where load is transferred to the bonded length by stressing the free length.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
